Garmin Venu 2 vs Venu 2 Plus


The Garmin Venu 2 Plus is the new and upgraded version of the Venu 2 with the main hardware difference being the addition of a microphone and speaker. The Venu 2 only had a beeper. This new hardware enables the user to use new voice functionality from the smartwatch.

  • The Venu2 Plus has a battery life of 9 days in smartwatchmode instead of 11 days on the Venu 2
  • The Venu 2 Plus bezel diameter is 43.6mm instead of 45.4mm on the Venu 2 or 40.4mm on the Venu 2S
  • The Venu 2 Plus quick release bands are 20mm instead of 22mm on the Venu 2 or 18mm on the Venu 2S
  • The Venu 2 Plus has BLUETOOTH phone calling and voice assistant support for Android and iPhone

Phone calls from the wrist: Enables making and taking phone calls with the press of a button. The Venu 2 Plus is not an LTE watch so you do need to be in the range of your smartphone.

Voice assistant control: Compatible with Siri, Google Assistant or Bixby, users can use their smartphone’s voice assistant to send texts, ask questions, control compatible smart home devices, and more.
